Older TV sets have parts that are unfriendly to the Florida environment. If you would like to find out where to recycle your television in Florida, The Florida Department of Environment has a website where you can search for a place in your area that recycles older televisions.The site is located here

The National Association of Realtors is offering a green designation to the real estate agent membership that “encourages the real estate professional to be an advocate in spreading the green philosophy.”
Florida agents interested in receiving the designation can attend a 2 day course on January 20-21, 2009. The cost is $299. Call 800-669-4327 to register.
