			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Using a laptop</strong> can help Florida residents <strong>save energy</strong> according to a report by <a href="http://www.myfloridagreenbuilding.info/Index.htm">My Florida Green Building</a>, Florida residents who choose to surf the net with their laptop use up to 80% less energy that they would use with a desktop computer.  Additionally research conducted in 2003 by the <a href="http://www.efficientproducts.org/reports/computers/NRDC_Laptops_FINAL.pdf">Natural Resources Defense Council</a> suggests that it conserves more energy to run the laptop while plugged in compared to running it on battery status.</p>
